Starbucks faces backlash for discontinuing popular Pumpkin Spice Latte

Starbucks is facing backlash from loyal customers after announcing that they will be discontinuing their popular Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) from their menu.

The PSL has been a staple on Starbucks' menu since 2003 and has become a fall favorite for many customers.

Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol made the announcement during the company's recent earnings call, saying that the PSL had "run its course" and that Starbucks was "ready to move on to new and exciting things."

The news has been met with disappointment and anger from PSL fans, who have taken to social media to express their displeasure.

"This is an outrage!" wrote one customer on Twitter. "The PSL is the best thing about fall!"

Another customer wrote: "I'm so disappointed. The PSL is a tradition for me and my friends. I can't believe Starbucks is taking it away."

Starbucks has not yet announced what will replace the PSL on its menu, but Niccol said that the company is "working on a number of new and exciting beverages" that will be released in the coming months.
